1. Original Samples are made from scratch entirely by me. They ARE royalty free! If a release hits 1 million + on any platform we split 50/50! No copyright issues or third parties.
2. Sample Chops are chopped samples I made on the MPC from records that include song name & title for clearing. You can still upload to streaming/beatstars and get paid for using these. You don't have to credit me because I only put you on to the sample!

I LOVE Hip-Hop. I'm a student of hip-hop & seasoned crate-digger. I love using the MPC as an instrument & sampling is how hip-hop originated. There is a new and unique sound that comes from this. If you ever hit the pads, you know what I'm talking about. I will continue to Chop Da Soul on my MPC and upload all of my chops with names in packs for people to spread the soul to everybody! I'm anti-gatekeep and want to put people on to dope records, artist & channels! If you prefer original samples. We have that too!

Chop Da Soul is a sample library dedicated to all the crate diggers, soul choppers hip-hop & boom bap lovers. Started by me, Gio Gomez in 2025.

My goal is to spread the best/soulful sounds to as many producers. I've been spending years listening to & chopping samples. Now I am trying to build that same sound from scratch. With the knowledge I have soaked up hours spent studying the greats, I strive to implement that soul through inspiration from one producer to another.
